Getting here
From the M6 motorway, the best approach to Keswick is via the A66 from Penrith leading to the A591 Penrith Rd. From the exit of the A66 keep left at the bottom, then at the next junction turn right. As you enter Keswick, the River Greta is on your right hand side. As you near the town, there is a long green slate wall flanking the river. Keep your eyes open for a pelican crossing and turn left immediately in front of it – it’s a sharp left, into Southey Street. Drive up Southey Street a little way and take the 3rd left – this is Helvellyn Street and we are located about 500 yards down on the left hand side.
